MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Saris Cycling Group is expanding its portfolio of bicycle infrastructure products with the acquisition of Bike Fixtation.
MIAMI (BRAIN) — J&B Importers has acquired Alienation, the Mill Valley, California-based BMX aftermarket and OEM component brand.
Alienation is best known for its front-specific BMX rim, and for its wheel systems using TCS (Tubeless Compatible System), licensed from WTB.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (BRAIN) — EDCO USA has acquired the Faster cycling performance center, which includes a low-speed wind tunnel and bike fit studio.
ANTWERP, Belgium (BRAIN) — Shimano Europe has agreed to acquire Lazer Sport NV, the Belgian helmet brand.
The companies agreed to the deal on Thursday. After clearance from authorities, the acquisition is expected to close in the second half of this year, Shimano said.
BREMBATE, Italy (BRAIN) — Italty's 3T Cycling Srl will acquire THM Carbones GmbH, a high-end carbon components brand based in Germany. The companies said the acquisition will be completed in August.
BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Eco Brands Group, the parent of Green Guru Gear and Ecologic Designs, has acquired another recycled products manufacturer, Seattle-based Alchemy Goods.
BOISE, Idaho (BRAIN) — K-Edge has new owners and is planning a re-branding, as two of its co-founders — Joe Savola and his wife, the Olympic cyclist Kristin Armstrong — have sold their interest in the brand to AceCo Precision Tools. K-Edge co-founder Eric Jensen been has appointed president.
GOLDEN, Colo. (BRAIN) — Colorado-based Feedback Sports has acquired Scorpion Bike Stands LLC, which was based in Dana Point, California. The purchase includes patents and trademarks associated with the Scorpion bicycle stand developed by Scorpion founder Mike Diorio.
CLEARFIELD, Utah (BRAIN) — Vista Outdoor Inc. has completed its purchase of the Bell, Giro, C-Preme and Blackburn brands for $400 million.
