WATERLOO, WI (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycle is recalling about 6,800 Madone road bikes because of a problem with their front brake. The company, which is working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commision on the recall, said it has received five reports of loose front brake attachment bolts.
OGDEN, UT (BRAIN) — Tektro USA/TRP Brakes has issued a voluntary recall notice for about 4,000 TRP Spyre and Spyre SLC mechanical disc brake calipers.

KENT, WA (BRAIN) — Diamondback is working with the Consumer Product Safety Commision on a recall of about 40 cyclocross bikes that were assembled with incorrect headset parts. The incorrect part could cause the steerer tube to fail, although the company has had no reports of incidents.
