BPSA approves e-bike staff training program

Published December 14, 2016

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — The Bicycle Product Suppliers Association e-bike committee, chaired by Larry Pizzi of Raleigh Electric, approved a budget this week to create 10 two-minute training videos to help e-bike retail staff better serve this emerging market.

The videos will be hosted on the Myagi training website beginning March 1, and will also be accessible through the training sites of Bosch, Giant, Shimano, Specialized and Trek. BPSA's executive director, Ray Keener, will oversee the production.

"This could not be happening at a better time for the industry. The electric bike category is poised for substantive growth in 2017 and retail associates will benefit immensely from this easy-to-use training platform specifically targeted at the e-bike consumer," noted Pizzi.
