NEW YORK (BRAIN) — New York-based retailer Rubber N' Road has opened a new pop-up store in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, for the second year.
The store will be open from March 15 through May 15 and plans to host rides and events as well as showcasing the store's latest products.
This year's pop-up has a larger footprint with a broader product selection than last year's location, the store's management said.
New products from the brand's upcoming Spring/Summer 2024 collection will be unveiled at the store prior to its global release. The store's co-founder, Max Davis, will be on the ground in Mallorca throughout the duration of the pop-up event and will be joined by members of the brand's global community, including brand ambassadors from across Europe and North America.
Co-Founder and CEO Gil Lavi said, "We are here not just to beat the field, but to create a new field. As an independent atelier brand, we are unique in the landscape of cycling. Our focus is on developing the next generation of technical innovation at our NYC studio using cutting-edge technologies, while telling a deeply personal story about a brand that's rooted in aesthetic, philosophy, and cultural history."
Davis said, "Mallorca is such a special place and is near and dear to the soul of our brand. We look forward to continuing to foster our relationship with the local riding community on the island, as well as offering visitors from abroad a unique brand experience with exclusive access to our latest products."
The founder said the Mallorca pop-up "is the next step in the brand's plan for further expansion into the European market."
The store is at Costa d'en Brossa, 6, Palma, Illes Balears, Spain. It's open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
After operating several pop-up stores in New York City, Rubber 'N Road opened its first year-round location in the city's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in 2021.
