WILTON, Conn. (BRAIN) — The Cannondale Sports Store in Carle Place, New York, was recently featured in Hub Magazine, and was awarded a bronze award for retail experience in the 4th Annual Hub Prize competition hosted by the magazine. The store in Carle Place (a part of North Hempstead, New York) has provided retail options for Cannondale retailers across the country.
The Hub Prize honors excellence in the brand experience. According to the award competition listing, a judge said, “The store does a great job of creating a branded and immersive experience for the shopper and enthusiast.”
"We're honored to be recognized by the Hub Prize panel," said Dave Manchester, Cannondale's senior vice president of sales and marketing for North America. "Cannondale Sports Stores have been strategically designed to test retail options that can benefit our retailers by showcasing products in unique and functional ways, while providing a best-in-class customer shopping experience."
"These are exciting times for us; we have partnered with retailers across the country to share our new learnings from our stores and most recently did a full remodel with Gotham Bikes in New York City. By working with our valued retail partners, we continually strive to earn their business and share our award-winning retail findings on how to improve the customer experience, drive sales and ultimately serve the customer's interests in an extraordinary way," he said.
The New York City bike share program, Citi Bike, was awarded a gold medal in the same competition.
