MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — WTB is donating $15 to the American Red Cross from each sale of a limited edition saddle. The donations are meant to support vicitims of the Northern California wilfdires. 

PERTH, Australia (BRAIN) — Cycliq has made two additions to its line of integrated bike camera and light devices. The new models are smaller and lighter than previous models, and offer wireless connectivity features via ANT+ and Bluetooth.

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Schwinn, a brand of Dorel Industries, has released a limited 1,400-unit production run of its Grey Ghost Sting-Ray. The bikes will be available only at Dick's Sporting Goods stores and on the retailer's website, for $399.

The Grey Ghost was originally sold in 1971.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ibis Cycles has introduced a new version of its long-standing cyclocross model, the Hakkalügi. The new models is called the Hakka MX and is intended as a cyclocross/gravel road bike that can be run with 700c or 27.5-inch wheels.

Distributor plans more products under the new brand.

SANTA FE, N.M. (BRAIN) — BTI is now selling inner tubes under its new house brand, Circ. The distributor said the tubes offer margins starting at 200 percent and are packaged in a color-coded system that makes it easy for shops to find the right size.

LONDON (BRAIN) — Proviz' new Nightrider LED cycling jacket incorporates machine washable LED lights into the jacket to aid with visibility.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Norco is recalling about 1,050 children's bikes in the U.S. and 1,750 in Canada because the bikes' Samox cranks can bend or break in use. The company has received four reports of cranks bending or breaking; none resulted in injury, according to the company.

KIRKLAND, Wash. (BRAIN) — BikeFit is now shipping its Saddle Changer, an updated and much lower priced version of its previous quick-change seatpost, the SwitchIt.  The Saddle Changer is intended for bike shops, fitters, and saddle demo operators, to quickly swap saddles on bikes.

The Shagamaw is a carbon hardtail built for 27.5-plus wheels. It will also accept 29-inch wheels with tires up to 2.5 inches.
