I was buzzing around Twitter this morning and saw Gary Newkirk's post about being featured in the OC Register.
I was intrigued considering I know him a bit through his work with us and Interbike. Because of his work with the camera over the years in the sports world (and considering I'm a huge sports fan), I always love to hear some of his stories, not only from his time spent working in the bike industry, but those rare sports moments like being able to capture Tiger winning his first Masters.
But he has a life outside of the camera too, evidenced by his new role as Dana Point's new planning commissioner. I don't remember him mentioning anything about this at Interbike, so it was cool to read about what got him intrigued in this new position.
