BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Stages Cycling has hired Dan Knisely as sales director for the Americas. Knisely will start with Stages Cycling in the beginning of November and will be replacing Will Grossman, who has been promoted and will transfer to Stage's indoor and commercial cycling business.
"Dan is the consummate sales professional," said Bernie Doering, SVP of global sales at Stages Cycling. "I have worked with Dan in various sales management roles over the last 30 years and he is ideally suited to help Stages continue our strong IBD relationships, and support our robust product launch strategy over the next few years."
Knisely said, "I am thrilled to be joining Stages Cycling and helping them expand their presence in the North American market. Stages has a well-earned reputation for developing ground-breaking technologies that enable every cyclist to improve their performance."
Knisely was most recently Eastern regional sales manager for Vista Outdoor's Action Sports division, overseeing the Bell, Giro and Blackburn brands. He has a long history in the sports and outdoor industry with sales management roles at Nike, Timberland, Nathan and 180s. In addition, Knisely ran his own cycling sales agency on the East Coast for several years.
