FORT COLLINS, Colo. (BRAIN) — Connex has reduced the U.S. wholesale and suggested retail prices of its chains by about 10 percent due to the continued weakness of the euro against the U.S. dollar, the company announced this weel. The company also announced a new minimum advertised price policy in the U.S.
The new policy sets the MAP at 10 percent below MSRP prices.
"We will periodically update our wholesale pricelist with MSRP and MAP pricing and distribute this to all distributors and wholesale accounts," the company said in a letter to its distributors and retailers this week. "This policy applies only to advertised prices and does not apply to the price at which retailers actually sell Connex-branded products. Retailers are free to independently set the price at which they sell Connex branded products. This policy does not apply to in-store displays or markings."
The company said the policy does apply to all forms of printed or electronic advertising, printed or online catalogs, displays, and all other forms of advertising.
The policy is effective August. 1. For any questions related to this policy, contact Tom Petrie, Connex USA's sales agent, at 970.282.1880.
