PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — BikeFlights.com, which facilitates the shipping of bikes to events, announced a new athlete ambassador program at the Sea Otter Classic last week.
The company is aligned with several different individual athletes in teams in multiple discliplines. The athletes receive discounted bike shipping.
"At BikeFlights.com, we help cyclists get their bikes to wherever they need to go," said BikeFlights.com owner William Alcorn. "With our ambassador program, we're making it easier for our talented ambassadors get their bikes to races so they can spend their time, money and energy more effectively pursuing their cycling goals."
BikeFlights.com is accepting applications to fill a few remaining spots in its 2015 ambassador program. Apply to partners@bikeflights.com by sending a cover letter and cycling resume.
The individual ambassadors are Vicki Barclay (Stan's NoTubes Elite Women's Team), Megan Chinburg (Sellwood Cycle Repair) and Serena Gordon Bishop (Liv). Team ambassadors are Competitive Cyclist Mountain Bike Team and LA Sweat Women's Road Cycling Team.
