Giant Canada promotes Nica Novlesky and Hugo Lanthier

NORTH VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Giant Canada has promoted Nica Novlesky to a new role as brand specialist for the Liv brand, and named Hugo Lanthier to the new position of event coordinator/public relations/After Service and Quality Assurance (ASQA) supervisor. Giant Canada also has hired Dorothy Luebke in the ASQA department.

Novlesky was formerly Giant Canada’s event coordinator/public relations/Liv representative. In her new role she is focused soley on Liv.

Her role will include the continued support for retailers in developing their female consumer base, development of the Liv product line in Canada, overseeing Liv brand marketing opportunities, social media engagement, development of women’s instructional programs, involvement in local and national women’s events, and management of the Liv Ambassadors program.

“As the Liv brand continues to establish itself as the only full provider of women’s product, culture and retail experience Giant Canada is committed to supporting our dealers with an extensive Liv program. Nica is the perfect person to take Liv to the next level in the Canadian market and we are thrilled to have her focus all her attention on this very important segment,” said Giant Canada’s Paul Nash.

Lanthier previously has worked on many different facets of Giant Canada’s large-scale events and has assisted in the successful executions of these projects. His new position will consist of taking care of major events such as Crankworx and the Summit convention as well as managing demo events nationwide.

“Hugo has done an amazing job of taking care of our dealers over the past five years, which is why he will continue to oversee the ASQA division, but we are thrilled that his new focus is the execution of these critical events and we are confident that his enthusiasm and dedication will continue their success,” Nash said.

Luebke worked at Cycles Lambert for the past seven years and has experience in customer relations as well as warranty.

“Dorothy has some big shoes to fill, but we are confident that her experience and personality will help deliver the same excellent standard of service our dealers are used to. She is a welcome addition to our great team,” said Nash.
