LEXINGTON, S.C. (BRAIN) — Hawley has hired four new sales reps in territories across the U.S. Matthew McClendon takes on the region of East Ohio, West Pennsylvania and Michigan. Tony Zanca, previously a receiving manager for Hawley, is now outside sales rep for greater Orange County, California. Scott Matual will cover Washington state and Art Harris will handle upstate New York.
McClendon joins Hawley after serving as a sales manager for DT Swiss and Kenda.
Zanca started with Hawley in 2007 and over the years earned top accolades as an inside sales representative. He was a tech rep for Selle Italia in 2012 and then returned to Hawley as receiving manager.

Harris comes to the company with more than two decades of experience in retail, sales and distribution. He previously worked in sales and territory management at SBS and J&B Importers.
“Although distribution changes and challenges are happening across the industry, we continue to grow,” said Steve Hawley, president of Hawley. “The climate isn’t getting easier for suppliers and retailers so we need to keep raising the bar. We’re committed to adding more territory managers in order to assist our vendors and our IBD clients in achieving additional sell-through in the channels by providing optimum product selection, merchandising and education.”
Hawley is the distributor and exclusive importer of Northwave, Catlike, Swobo and Look bikes and pedals. It currently stocks and sells more than 23,000 SKUs in the industry and operates two distribution centers covering both the East and West coasts.
