USADA’s COO to talk doping at Leadership Conference

MONTEREY, CA (BRAIN) — John Frothingham, chief operating officer of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, will talk about how bike companies can work together to clean up the sport at the upcoming Bicycle Leadership Conference, organizers announced this week.

 Frothingham manages USADA’s athlete services group, which includes athlete education and test planning as well as sample collection and information technology functions. He has been influential in the development and delivery of elite athlete anti-doping education and the international distribution of USADA’s anti-doing management system. 

The Bicycle Leadership Conference will be held April 16-18 at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa in Monterey, California, just prior to the Sea Otter Classic. 

 The theme of the conference is “Shaping Our Future” and will include several other speakers, among them, Tony Lo, CEO of Giant Global; Jenn Dice, vice president of government relations for Bikes Belong; and Elysa Walk, general manager of Giant Bicycles.
