OLNEY, IL (BRAIN) Thursday July 5 2012 7:31 AM MT—Magura Direct has taken over U.S. distribution of the Vredestein tire brand. Vredestein's U.S. distribution has been up in the air since Hugh Walton left the brand's former distributor Move Sport to join Mavic Inc. this year.
Walton had been Vredestein's U.S. and Canada brand manager for about a year; the tires were distributed by Boulder, Colorado-based Move Sport, which is owned by Walton's wife, Susan Walton.
"We'd really like to thank the folks at Move Sport for working hard to make this a seamless transition," said Jeff Enlow, Magura Direct's general manager.
