BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) Tuesday July 3 2012 12:10 PM MT—Mavic, Inc., general manager Hugh Walton, who suffered a stroke in Massachusetts in May, has been discharged from a hospital in his hometown of Boulder and will continue his recovery at home, his wife said Tuesday.

"He starts outpatient cognitive therapy this week and is expected to continue with that program for a month," Susan Walton said.

"We have no idea of what is needed beyond that just yet. In the meantime he has resumed some Mavic duties via email and phone but it is still minimal due to doctor's orders. Overall, his progress is excellent."

Walton had just started at Mavic's U.S. office in Haverhill, Massachusetts, when he had the stroke. He was treated in Massachusetts for several weeks before moving to the Boulder hospital.
