ROTORUA, New Zealand (BRAIN)—Enve Composites has picked up Wide Open Distributors as a distribution partner in New Zealand.
“I’m very excited to welcome Wide Open Distributors to the Enve family as our exclusive New Zealand distributor. This couldn’t be a better fit, and I’m looking forward to growing our partnership,” said Enve’s vice president of global sales and marketing Beverly Lucas. Enve is headquartered in Ogden, Utah.
Other brands distributed by Wide Open include FSA, Demolition, Chris King, Marzocchi, Gravity, Vision, Turner Bikes, YD Open, SDG, Juice Lubes, MRP, Atom Lab, Black Market, Tioga, ODI and Soma.
Enve products will be available through Wide Open’s network of dealers in mid December.
DERBY, VT—Louis Garneau is seeking to expand its Vermont operation by building a new $7 million plant in Derby, according to The Associated Press.
The AP reported that Louis Garneau USA is seeking local permits to build a two-story, 60,040-square-foot plant that could employ as many as 120 and that would include manufacturing, a warehouse as well as office and retail space.
Louis Garneau USA currently employs 95 in its Newport, Vermont plant, which is leased. It’s been in Newport since 1989.
Its parent company, Louis Garneau Sports, is based near Quebec City. It has 425 employees worldwide with sales in 45 countries, the AP report said.
