DUARTE, CA (BRAIN)—Dahon has expanded its team with the addition of a new product director and a technical specialist.
The folding bike brand has tapped Russell Sneed as the lead on product development. Sneed most recently worked as sales manager for American Grass and Turf, Inc. and has more than 25 years in the cycling industry including positions at SAF Group and FC Cycles Inc./FILA Bicycles.
German native Kai Zimmer will fill the role of technical specialist to look after product support and bike spec in Europe, as well as communicate technical feedback from customers to Dahon factories. Zummer most recently worked as Cannondale’s sales coordinator for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He has also worked for Kona Bikes in Germany and was the workshop manager for a bike retailer in Dubai.
Wingflyer Hires New Executives
PALM BEACH GARDENS (BRAIN)—WingFlyer recently hired several new executives to help meet sales demand and support the IBD channel.
As vice president of sales, Justin Gottlieb will manage the IBD channel for Catalfumo Global Distributors, the Florida-based distributor of the stepcycle. Gottlieb brings nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience with brands like Baby Jogger and American Bicycle Group.
Mike Stratos comes to Catalfumo Global with 14 years of sales and management experience, and will handle special events. Garry DeArmond will manage specialized fundraising projects with independent bicycle dealers. Garry brings 16 years of large-scale sales management experience to the team having previously worked with several large specialty retailers.
Catalfumo Global now has a fleet of custom wrapped vans displaying our WingFlyer products. The vans will be filled with WingFlyer product for dealer events and demo days to assist IBD's in promoting the product in local markets. From a national marketing perspective, Catalfumo Global will advertise WingFlyer nationally on Comcast and Time Warner.
