SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (BRAIN)—Easton Bell Sports has tapped action sports industry veteran Scott Oliver as its new director of sales for bike in North America. Oliver fills the position left by Pat Hus when he accepted the role as Interbike’s managing director last month.
Oliver’s appointment was effective last Monday. He will be responsible for leading the U.S. and Canadian sales teams to grow Easton Bell’s revenue and market share. Easton Bell’s bike brands include Giro, Blackburn, Easton and Bell.
Oliver previously worked for Easton Bell Sport as director of U.S. sales from 2004 to 2006. He’s also held various positions in sales and management at Burton Snowboards and spent two years as the general manager for Oakley’s Canadian subsidiary during a 20-year career in action sports.
He will be relocating from Vermont to Scotts Valley with his wife and two daughters.
