HALF MOON BAY, CA (BRAIN)—To help spread the word on Dirty Dog MTB's new Web rotor, the Half Moon Bay-based company has hired Rob Reedy of Echos Communications.
“It’s good to have a partner like Echos that brings the same passion for mountain biking as we do,” said Martin Dieck, one of Dirty Dog's founders.
Reedy echoed DeBeer’s sentiments. “I’m excited to hook up with a brand that’s as dedicated to the dirt as I am,” Reedy said. “Dirty Dog supports the bicycle community as well as designs and manufacturers top of the line products. This credibility and innovation are important to the industry.”
This new 6-bolt standard 160-millimeter Web rotor ($38.95) comes in at 109 grams and is made from a special 400 Series High-Carbon Stainless Steel. It integrates a scalloped braking surface that provides ample metal for dependable breaking while cooling and clearing the break pads from grime and build-up. The interlaced web-like struts create a stiffer rotor to stay true without adding weight.
“At Dirty Dog MTB we engineer our rotors and other components to look better and ride better than anything else out there. If you care about weight but don’t want to give up on performance check out the Web,” Dieck said.
