CERRITOS, CA (BRAIN)—Lee Lewis has joined the inside sales department at VSI Products. VSI is the parent company of THE, Intense BMX, Speed Bicycles, Sinz & Sinz Elite, ITS, EYE BMX, AVE and Vigor, all product lines Lee will be selling to retailers across the country.
A native of Houston, Texas, and an A Pro racer, Lee previously worked in sales at Formula Bicycles in San Diego. More recently, he has been living in Phoenix working retail at Industrial Ride Shop and on the road teaching Super Camps. He made the move to Long Beach, California, earlier this month to work for VSI.
"I'm really excited to be here at VSI. It's the perfect job for me. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be in California and be in the industry. I surf as well, so I first came out here to San Diego hunting for waves. I'm looking forward to being part of the team and contributing to the company," Lee said.
Known around the racing circuit for his aggressive riding style, Lee is a frequent maker of A Pro mains with the occasional podium spot. He picked up his first pro win last summer at Boulder City, Nevada. Starting with the U.S. Nationals in Bakersfield this month, he will be riding a Speed M-Series 20 frame equipped with a full range of Sinz Elite, Sinz, THE and ITS products.
