MELBOURNE, Australia (BRAIN)—Bicycle imports for the month of February fell in Australia, according to statistics released by the nonprofit Bicycle Industries Australia group.
Adult bicycle imports are on par with last year’s figures, but the number of children’s bicycles imported fell below 10,000 for the month, well down from the 24,000 imported during February last year. Adult imports came in at 45,121 for February compared with 46,026 from the same month last year. Overall imports in February were down to 54,349 from 70,996 in 2010.
