CARLSTADT, NJ (BRAIN)—Action Bicycle, the northeast's largest distributor, will host its 2011 Expo on Sunday, as more than 30 vendors will be in attendance this year—an increase of 20 percent over last year's event.
Last year’s Expo was huge for the company and this year Action is going even bigger. "We have a 100 percent return of last year's vendors so the only way to go is up and there are some big names that are new to the Expo this year so we're really excited. Having a name like SRAM commit to us is huge," said Nick Giammona, inside sales rep and one of the event's planners.
The list of returning vendors includes Shimano, Jagwire, Thomson, Cane Creek, KMC, Park Tool, Pedro's, Topeak, Nantucket Baskets, Sigma Sport, Princeton Tec, Wald, Vigor, Kenda, Kryptonite, Portland Design Works, Saris/CycleOps, Maxxis, Hutchinson and Inno Rack Systems.
New attendees for 2011 include SRAM, WTB, Lezyne, Kool Stop, Polar Bottles, Owleye lights and Pinhead locks.
If you are an Action dealer or interested in becoming a dealer, join Action at the Graycliff in Moonachie this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
