GREENVILLE, SC (BRAIN)—Hincapie Sportswear has hired Jason Losey as retail sales representative for the brand in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico.
Losey will represent Hincapie for retail cycling apparel and accessory sales to independent bicycle dealers and sell Hincapie custom cycling clothing to clubs and teams in his territory, according to a press release.
“I’m pleased to announce the addition of Jason to our growing sales team,” said Rich Hincapie, president of Hincapie Sportswear. “Our focus for 2011 is on building our retail sales business, and we look forward to gaining some momentum in a very important territory. The rocky mountain region represents big potential for us, and we’re confident that Jason can help grow the business in this area.”
Losey has over 14 years of industry experience in retail management and customer service that he will leverage to gain distribution in his region. He was most recently the manager and buyer at Big Ring Cycles in Golden, Colorado, so he has an intimate understanding of the challenges facing most dealers today. His avid participation in all forms of cycling has resulted in building solid relationships that will help him keep his finger on the pulse of the sport in the Rockies. In addition to selling Hincapie, Losey will also represent Cervelo and Bont in his territory.
