Published July 21, 2010

TRENTON, NJ (BRAIN)—Dana Carson, managing director of Hutchinson North America, is stepping down on August 5 for a new position in the industry.

"I've really enjoyed working with the team at Hutchinson NA for the last three years," Carson said in a press release. "Together with the management from our headquarters in France, we've restructured our North American operations, spearheaded serious increases in sales of Road Tubeless, 29-inch mountain bike tires, and our new carbon-beaded cyclocross tires."

In addition to sales, Carson helped streamline marketing, advertising and distribution strategies at Hutchinson NA. He is currently working with the Hutchinson organization to fill his position upon his absence.

"Hutchinson would like to thank Dana for the good work he has done at our North American Headquarters," said Jerome Dumartin, global sales director for Hutchinson Tires. "He leaves a solid framework for continued growth of our sales in the U.S., and we wish him the best in his future endeavors."
