MANCHESTER, NH (BRAIN)—The Bike Cooperative has entered into a partnership agreement with helmet and body armor manufacturer Kali Protectives, giving the cooperative a total of 19 supporting vendors to date.
After making its August 2008 debut in motocross, Kali introduced its lineup of protectives for the bike market in January 2009.
While the Kali name is relatively new to the industry, its team led by president Brad Waldron brings years of major manufacturer product development experience to its high-tech brand of bicycle gear. “Our partnership with The Bike Cooperative should have a very positive impact on the Kali brand,” Waldron said. “Being able to share the Kali story with some of the country’s best dealers provides us with an opportunity to expand our footprint in markets where we have room for growth.”
Kevin Wren, the cooperative’s director of supplier relations added, “In a very short period of time Kali Protectives has made ground-breaking advances in specialty body armor and head protection. We are thrilled to be partnering with a company like Kali that’s truly on the cutting edge of technology.”
Members of the cooperative earn rebates on all purchases of Kali products effective immediately.
