ASHLAND, OR (BRAIN)—United Bicycle Parts has gone out of business. The distribution company will be fully dissolved on or before Feb. 1, where any remaining funds will be dispersed to UBP's creditors.
"Business has been slow for us for a little while," said Ron Blocher, owner of UBP. "October was [really] slow. I've never been able to grow [the business] at the rate I wanted to."
Blocher bought UBP in early 2004. Three employees worked for the company located in Ashland, Oregon.
