Marin Bikes Hires for Customer Service

Published January 16, 2009

NOVATO, CA (BRAIN)—Marin Bikes has added two new account managers into its rank of sales and customer service staff.

Marin Bikes has strengthened its territory representation in the Mid-Atlantic territory of New York’s five Boroughs, Long Island, Eastern Pennyslvania and New Jersey with the addition of Nikita Dorcinvil to its team. Chris Lopez joins Marin’s internal sales staff as an account manager focusing on the Southwest, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic seaboard. Both Dorcinvil and Lopez bring many years of IBD service with customer service skills honed in the finance industry.

Excelling within their respective careers, both Lopez and Dorcinvil have been leaders at their previous jobs and understand the necessity of customer service and follow through. Both share a passion for cycling with strong road and mountain backgrounds; willing to participate and support their customers, be it through phone contact or in-store demo support.

In addition to running Just Finish Inc., a timing and event scoring company, Dorcinvil will be focusing on the Marin Bikes line exclusively, with a full demo trailer of road and mountain bikes.

“We’re excited to expand our dealer services by having a dedicated territory manager who will be supporting our dealer base with in-store and on-dirt riding demo’s,” said Steve Glazer, vice president of sales and marketing. “Nikita is a fantastic representative of Marin product and someone who our customers will find an invaluable resource.”

Lopez adds to an already strong team of sales and customer service professionals on the inside at Marin Bikes. He brings more than a decade of industry experience, both from the wholesale and retail side. Joining a U.S.-based inside sales team of seven employees, Lopez will be managing territories in the Southwest, Midwest and Atlantic Seaboard. His technical and professional sales background complements an existing staff dedicated to efficient dealer support.

Marin recognizes the necessity to continue to bolster its dealer services. By increasing its consumer visibility in one of the most densely populated regions of the country, Marin will continue to fuel the demand for its suspension and pavement oriented product. Additionally, Glazer said, “We’re committed to providing Marin dealers with the tools, through both personnel and programs, that enable them to differentiate and extol the virtues of our designs. We anticipate that these and other dealer service projects will demonstrate to our customers that Marin Bikes continues to be a healthy and innovative market leader.”
