COSTA MESA, CA (BRAIN)—When the NBDA Super Seminars kick off in four more cities for 2009, supplier sponsors will be involved to support each regional event. Like the dealers who attend, participating suppliers understand the value in supporting dealer education and further development of the retail channel.
“We’re glad to be back again this year as a sponsor,” said Park Tool’s marketing director Bill Armas. “The Super Seminars are a great way to learn and dialog about issues affecting retail on a local level.” Park Tool also supports retailers by hosting mechanic-focused training events staging in January titled the Park Tool Tech Summit.
With a similar view is returning sponsor Hans Johnsen Company. The distributor was a great partner at last year’s seminar in Dallas, and will be on hand at this year’s event in Austin, Texas. Other 2009 sponsors are Bicycle Retailer and Industry News and Efficient Velo Tools (EVT). EVT’s own Brett Flemming will host a session at each of the four seminars on increasing profitability within the service department derived from Flemming's many years of experience as a bicycle retail service department manager and trainer.
The 2009 NBDA Regional Super Seminars are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
Jan 21 - Austin, TX – Omni Austin Hotel Southpark
Jan 23 - Phoenix, AZ – Fiesta Resort Conference Center
Feb 3 - Tampa, FL – Crowne Plaza Hotel Tampa East
Feb 24 - Anaheim, CA – Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County
