OAKLAND, CA (BRAIN)—Hydrapak has appointed Jim Vernon as its new sales coordinator and David Kim the new service coordinator.
"This is very exciting for us," said Hydrapak sales director Matt Patterson. "We are experiencing a record year in 2008 both domestically and internationally, the launch of the Reversible Reservoir II, the re-design of our Hydration pack line and the success of the Gel-Bot has essentially doubled our business and the addition of such high caliber people as Jim and David will help fuel our momentum."
Vernon's focus will be driving sales programs surrounding new products and help with brand positioning. Vernon is an accomplished endurance runner and his past position
as athlete manager with The North Face brings a highly qualified manager to the team.
"I'm looking forward to this opportunity," he said. I'm enthused to be working with such a dynamic group of people and promoting such a well-respected, growing brand."
Kim will be the primary contact for the increasing number of dealers and distributors and will act as the Hydrapak office traffic manager as well.
