PLEASANTON, Calif. (BRAIN) — Jakroo Custom Apparel recently expanded their mountain bike apparel offering with the introduction of the Flow trail jersey and the Flux trail short for both men and women.
Jakroo offers customizable premium performance wear for cyclists, triathletes, and endurance athletes. Both the Flow and Flux are fully customizable to allow for shop branding and graphics, with no Jakroo logos printed on the gear.
The new mountain bike products were developed in part due to the demand Jakroo received from current customers. "We have shop accounts that currently sell branded road cycling kits, and lately they have been requesting more mountain bike apparel as that segment continues to expand," said US National Sales Manager Claire Sayle. "We put a lot of R&D into the new mountain bike products and we are pretty excited to bring the Flow and Flux to the market."
The pieces were developed and tested by the team at Jakroo's R&D headquarters in Penticton, British Columbia, with additional testing done in the Sierra Nevada mountains around Lake Tahoe, California. Jakroo relied on sponsored teams and ambassadors to put the products through their final paces before releasing them to the market.
The Flow jersey is crafted with Durango fabric, and tailored for an athletic fit. Special features include a built-in soft sunglass wipe, as well as a zippered pocket large enough for a phone. The Flow jersey is available in three sleeve lengths: SS, ¾ and LS.
Created with Sedona fabric, the Flux short cuts a streamlined trail silhouette, with an inseam gusset for a snug, non-slip fit. Special features include a dual slip-turn buckle system, a ventilated rear section for breathability, as well as two zippered pockets on the back thigh to keep phones and keys out of the way when pedaling.
Brian Opsal, Sr. Director of Marketing at Jakroo, said, "For IBD's custom apparel is not only a strategic branding opportunity but a great revenue generator as well. Our unique custom program allows shops to create designs with their own graphics and branding on highly technical apparel. Customers who are loyal to their local shop or just want a unique kit, tend to purchase shop-branded apparel overstock retail designs. We are excited to now offer a complete custom road and mountain bike line of apparel for shops to brand and sell."
