Stromer's new e-bike, the ST1 X, is aimed at the young and stylish

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Stromer's new ST1 X e-bike model is aimed at young and stylish city dwellers. It has an average range up to 70 miles and top speed up to 28 mph. It offers digital connectivity for unlocking and locking, power adjustment, theft protection, and more.

"The ST1 X is a perfect blend of our classic ST1 bikes and our award-winning premium ST2 bikes, giving consumers quality components and features at a more affordable price point."

The ST1 X's 618 Wh battery is hidden in the down tube. A stronger 814 Wh battery for up to 90 miles is available as an option. It has a custom 500 W CYRO drive motor with 35 Nm of torque.

The ST1 X connects to the digital world through Stromer's Omni portal and the Stromer smartphone app. From a smartphone, the user can adjust power, and lock or unlock the bike and see current speed, battery percentage, and selected pedal-assist mode. The ST1 X also has theft protection with an alarm, and an intelligent GPS system to locate a stolen bike.

The ST1 X has a Shimano SLX 11-speed drivetrain system, integrated front and rear lights, and Tektro Dorado disc brakes. It is available in two frame styles: The Comfort model with a 17-inch frame or the Sport model with a 17, 20 or 22-inch frame.
