SHELBY TWP, MI (BRAIN) — Vibra-Stop, a thread locker, sealant, and anti-vibration compound, is now available in an aerosol spray can and is being marketed for bicycle use.
The company said it had to overcome challenges involving curing and instability to make the compound available as an aerosol.
The compound also is available in a brush version. The company said Vibra-Stop differs from other thread-locking products because it allows coated pieces to be removed and reused multiple times, and parts assembly can take place immediately after application or indefinately after. The material works on threaded or non-threaded junctions and metal or non-metalic materials.
