VICENZA, Italy (BRAIN) — The investment firm Carlyle has agreed to buy the Italian protective gear brand Dainese Group. Dainese offers gear for powersports and mountain biking.
CHICAGO (BRAIN) — SRAM is acquiring the cycling apparel brand Velocio, according to Velocio's owners.
The purchase closed on March 3 and was announced publicly on Wednesday, Andrew Gardner, Velocio's chief marketing officer, told BRAIN and VeloNews.

The group, which includes Teslin Alpine Acquisition B.V., reached agreement on an all-cash offering for the shares for 1.56 billion euros ($1.76 billion).
