WELLINGBOROUGH, United Kingdom (BRAIN) — Storskogen UK has acquired the majority of shares of cycling parts and accessories distributor Extra UK.
Extra's founders Brian Stewart and John Phillips will continue to hold company shares and remain on the board of directors. Current management, led by CEO Will Fripp, will remain in place.

Storskogen acquires and manages small and medium-sized enterprises within the business areas of industry, trade, and services in the Nordic countries, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. At the end of 2021, Storskogen consisted of 105 business units with about 9,000 employees.
Established in 1995, Extra has supplied retailers in the United Kingdom and Ireland with a portfolio of brands, including ABUS, Brooks, Crankbrothers, Ergon, Fizik, Pirelli, and Topeak.
