Utah suspension tuner to distribute Italy's Extreme Racing Shox in the US

Published July 2, 2021

SALT LAKE CITY (BRAIN) — Italy's Extreme Racing Shox has a new U.S. distribution arm called EXT USA, which is being led by longtime suspension tuner Cody Priano.

Priano, the CEO of EXT USA, also owns Suspension Syndicate, a suspension tuning company based in Salt Lake City.

Extreme Racing Shox has been in the powersports suspension business since 1986. It entered the mountain bike market in 2014 with two rear shocks and then added an enduro fork. The brand's mountain bike products were previously retailed and distributed by Brennan Motorsports in Northern California.

"There's no question that EXT's mountain bike products, notably the Storia V3 shock and Era fork, have shaken up the suspension market," said Priano, who is part owner of EXT USA along with several partners. "We're excited to bring this technology to a new group of riders that have been waiting for it."

The brand's Storia V3 shock uses a dynamic damper, hydraulic bottom-out technology and individualized tuning that differentiate it from other offerings.

EXT USA will function as the United States distributor of EXT's Italian products and will handle sales, customer service, and custom tuning for each shock sold. EXT USA will sell direct to consumers and through a dealer base. EXT product information and dealer applications are available at EXTUSA.bike.
