PHILADELPHIA (BRAIN) — Steven Fairchild, who has worked for the Fuji brand for a total of 27 years, is leaving the company. The veteran product manager said Wednesday was his last day with Advanced Sports, Inc., Fuji's owner. He said he would announce a new position soon.

"After a combined 27 years at Fuji, it’s time for me to move on to my next challenge," he said in an email. "It’s been great working with all of you and thanks for the opportunity to be involved with designing a lot of great products."

Fairchild was with Fuji from 1984 to 2003, and then from 2010 to this week. In between his two stints with the brand, he was with Jamis Bicycles as product manager. At Fuji/ASI, his most recent position was global road product manager.
