August 15, 2024 — The National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) is thrilled to announce its continued partnership with the CABDA Expo as the official educational partner for the 2025 East, Midwest, and West Shows. This collaboration reflects the NBDA's commitment to providing top-tier educational resources and support to bicycle retailers across North America.
For the 2025 CABDA events, the NBDA will introduce a robust series of Retailer University seminars designed to empower retailers with the knowledge and tools needed to boost revenue and business growth. These seminars will feature peer panel discussions and expert-led sessions on essential topics within the industry. Retailers attending at least six sessions in the University Series will earn a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their commitment to professional development.
In addition to the Retailer University, the NBDA will also organize technical training seminars to ensure retailers are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge. The highly anticipated Super Seminar Series, a fan-favorite from the former Interbike Trade Show, will also make its return, offering in-depth sessions with industry experts on selected fields, arming retailers with strategies for success.
New for 2025, the NBDA is excited to introduce the Supplier Sync Series, where brands and suppliers will have dedicated time to conduct on-site training and engage with retailers in a group setting, addressing specific questions and fostering stronger partnerships.
Furthermore, the NBDA will present its acclaimed P2 content at the shows, with a dedicated Workshop Day scheduled the day before the East and Midwest Shows. This content will also extend into group discussions held at the NBDA Retailer Zone on the trade floor, creating a dynamic environment for peer-to-peer learning.
NBDA President Heather Mason expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "The CABDA shows are an invaluable opportunity for the NBDA to connect face-to-face with current and future members. The chance to workshop and sit down with members proves invaluable. Our goal is to provide retailers with the tools they need to succeed. If anyone has a specific topic they'd like to see at the show, please reach out to me. We are here to support you."
Jim Kersten, Show Director of CABDA, echoed this sentiment, adding, "It is always a pleasure to work with the folks at the NBDA. They bring high energy, obvious dedication, and incredibly valuable content. The sessions they have planned are timely and laser focused to help retailers thrive in an increasingly difficult market. We are truly fortunate to have them a partner."
As a special benefit, NBDA members attending the 2025 CABDA Shows will receive special designation on their show badges and gain access to an exclusive NBDA Relax Zone, complete with snacks and refreshments to recharge during the eventful days.
Retailers are strongly encouraged to sign up for the 2025 CABDA shows and, if not already a member, to join the NBDA today.
