Starting next year, 2025, Cyclingworld will no longer only take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, but Europe's leading trade fair for the world of bicycles will also be held in the USA for the first time.

The premiere of Cyclingworld New York City is from May 1st to 4th, 2025 and is affiliated with the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, one of the largest events in the world for urban cycling culture.

The new Cyclingworld New York City will take place as part of the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, which has kicked off on the first Sunday in May for over 20 years. With around 34,000 participants on a 65-kilometer route through New York, the bike tour is one of the largest bicycle events for recreational cyclists of all stripes in the USA. The route at the venue in Lower Manhattan will be completely closed to car traffic specifically for this purpose in order to encourage pleasure to give space to cycling in urban environments.

"The organization of the TD Five Boro Bike Tour naturally fits perfectly with the DNA of Cyclingworld, which, with an alliance of European and American exhibitors, creates an attractive overall package," says Stefan Maly. The location of Cyclingworld New York City, which will kick off the TD Five Boro Bike Tour from May 1st to 4th, 2025, will be an event hall at Pier 36 in Midtown Manhattan, not far from Times Square.

"Of course we would like to start with 150 to 200 exhibitors in a smaller setting than at the usual Cyclingworld Europe. New York with Manhattan offers our exhibitors a fantastic backdrop with perfect points of contact to reach the people of the metropolis. We therefore think that Cyclingworld New York will find fertile ground for everyone involved and that in the long term we will be able to establish ourselves as a trade fair for fine cycling culture on the east coast of the USA," Stefan Maly continued.

The Cyclingworld project manager, Torsten Abels, is already sure of good visitor numbers: "Our cooperation with Bike New York, the initiators of the big bike tour, also includes, among other things, the starting documents for the TD Five Boro Bike Tour at Cyclingworld New York City will be issued. It can therefore be assumed that the number of participants alone guarantees well over 30,000 trade fair visitors."

Interested exhibitors and companies can already register now for both the next Cyclingworld Europe in March 2025 in Düsseldorf and for the premiere in New York.
