On Jul 22, 5000 cyclists will take on the Triple Bypass Ride from Evergreen to Avon, Colo

The road-cycling event covering three Colorado mountain passes, celebrates 35 years

(Nov. 15, 2023– Evergreen, Colo) - The nationally recognized Triple Bypass, that takes cyclists over three mountain passes in Colorado, and hits an elevation of 11,990 feet is slated for Saturday, July 22, 2023. The Triple, in its 35th year, is nearly 120 miles, traveling over Juniper (11,140 ft.), Loveland (11,990 ft.), and Vail (10,560 ft.) passes, with extraordinary views at every summit.

“As always, the Triple Bypass takes determination. Riding well over 100 miles and nearly 11,000 feet of elevation gain is difficult, but achievable - and so worth it,” said Team Evergreen executive director, Jen Barbour. Team Evergreen produces the Triple Bypass as well as five other events including the Mount Evans Hill ClimbThe HundoSession SeriesSalida 76, and the Beti Bike Bash. The best part - they donate the proceeds to local nonprofit organizations, totaling $3.9M in their history.

Registration for the Triple Bypass opens on Dec.1, 2022 at 6 AM. MST for all Team Evergreen members and 2022 returning riders. A Team Evergreen membership, at just $40 a year, gives early entry access to a number of Team Evergreen events and to weekly training rides. Full public registration for the Triple Bypass opens on Jan. 5, 2023 at 6 AM MST.

The 2023 ride finishes in the Vail Valley, in the picturesque town of Avon, Colo. where riders and support teams will be treated to a unique and welcoming Colorado experience.

Early-bird pricing runs through January. Team Evergreen is anticipating another quick sell-out, as it has for many years in the past.
