Bicicletta, Canada's largest online bicycle retailer, announced today that Jared Boudreau will be joining the company as Manager, Product & Partnerships.
Jared has extensive industry and business experience having recently left 3T Bicycles where he was Director of North American Sales. Prior to his time at 3T Jared spent many years with Cervelo where he held various senior-level positions including Sales Director, Product Manager, and Territory Manager.
Jared will be joining the purchasing team and working closely with current and future vendors to support Bicicletta's growth in Canada. Bicicletta closed the doors to its two retail locations in March and focused entirely on e-commerce. In September they opened their new fulfillment centre (the RSC) in South Vancouver.
"Jared is a perfect fit for Bici," said Graham Fox, CEO/Owner. "Boudreau's extensive product and sales background significantly strengthen our rapid expansion, brand relationships, and market reach in the Canadian market," Fox added.
"I'm very excited to be joining the Bicicletta team," said Jared Boudreau. " I believe BICICLETTA has a great business model and product range in addition to a talented and passionate management team that uniquely positions it for success in the online retail space. Its mission is to provide premium cycling sales, service, and support.
About Bicicletta
Founded in 1984, BICICLETTA began as a small, Italian import road cycling store in Kitsilano. The original location featured exotic brands such as Cinelli, Campagnolo, and Pinarello and famously sold only Italian brands and products. By the early nineties, BICICLETTA had moved to its current on West Broadway and had expanded to include triathlon bikes and a wide selection of cycling clothing and accessories. Our Broadway store today features some of the finest road, mountain, and MTB brands in the world and boasts one of the largest selections of clothing and accessory brands in Canada.
Throughout the history of BICICLETTA, we have made a commitment to build and support the local cycling scene through team and club sponsorships and event promotion. BICICLETTA owners, Graham Fox, and Jon Bula were founding members of the largest, competitive masters race team in British Columbia. BICICLETTA Factory Racing has over 75 members and competes Nationally and Internationally in masters cycling events. BICICLETTA is also the host of the Awesome Grand Prix criterium.
