Salt Lake City (February 2020) — The Big Gear Show (BGS), the outdoor-industry's new hard goods-focused trade show, announced today that the July 2020 event will start with a productive full day outdoors at the spectacular Deer Valley Resort. Registered retail buyers are invited to test products, network and celebrate the industry with participating cycling, outdoor and paddlesports manufacturers.

The Park City Multi-Sport Demo Day will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Deer Valley Resort beginning at 10am and will finish with an after-party premium cookout, followed by live music at the resort's amphitheater just a few steps away. Deer Valley Resort is a world-class active lifestyle playground situated 7,200 feet above sea level, so show-goers will enjoy gorgeous alpine scenery, comfortable temperatures and low humidity, even in late July. Famous for co-hosting the Sundance Film Festival and the 2002 Winter Olympics, the resort provides an ideal testing ground for outdoor-industry gear.

The Multi-Sport Demo Includes:
● Complimentary shuttles running attendees to and from the Salt Palace Convention Center, a quick 40-minute drive straight up the interstate
● Six acres of on-site paddling ponds with easy, grass-covered put-ins, space for boat staging and easy access to exhibitor booths
● Direct lift access to over 70 miles of North America's best mountain bike trails, plus guided road cycling rides for all abilities and fitness levels (eBike paths, road rides, and trail demos available)
● Climbing and bouldering trips to nearby Wasatch Mountain crags

PeopleForBikes' Membership and Development Director Rod Judd had this to say: "Deer Valley Resort is a world-class setting for a bicycling event. The riding opportunities are spectacular for both on and off road riders. Attending a demo event there will remind you why it's a pleasure to work in our industry."

Retailer registration for the multi-sport demo is included when you register for FREE for The Big Gear Show in Salt Lake City at the Salt Palace Convention Center starting the following day. Retailers are also reminded that for a limited time only, qualified retailers can earn up to $150 per night for lodging, beginning the night of July 22st and continuing through July 24th—for a total reimbursement of up to $450. The deadline and the last day to register for a full reimbursement in The Big Gear Show's retailer lodging incentive is Sunday, March 1, 2020. Registration is online at www.thebiggearshow.com.
