CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Canyon Bicycles is expanding its service partner network by adding 28 REI Co-op locations. The consumer-direct brand's network already includes 66 independent bike shops in the U.S. and scores of independent service partners in Europe.
All service, including frame warranty and crash replacements, will be fulfilled at Southern California, Denver, and Washington, D.C., REI locations. By next year, more than 190 REI stores will be certified Canyon service partners. Authorized service partners are listed on the Canyon website.
"At Canyon, we are committed to providing exceptional experiences throughout the customer journey," said Jaclyn Mayer, Canyon's senior director of customer experience. "Working with REI allows us to dramatically expand our service ecosystem, making it easier than ever for our U.S. customers to access high-quality maintenance, service, repairs and small parts."
REI members receive 20% off services as part of their member benefits. The brand said this is the first step toward its customer service expansion.
