LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Zwift is preparing to release a new version of its online bike training/gaming app for iPads and iPhones. The new Zwift iOS app will be released as a "beta" program, the company said. The Zwift app was previously available only for use with a Mac or PC.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Velo Saddles is offering a new handlebar tape that uses proprietary technology to bond 3M reflective materials to the tape without any detriment to hand feel or durability.

WATERTOWN, Mass. (BRAIN) — Seven Cycles' new RedSky road bike is aimed at the all-weather, all-road market.

Based on the company's Axiom road bike platform, the RedSky is intended to be a "category-spanner."

ATLANTA, Ga. (BRAIN) — Wahoo Fitness has released a software update for its ELEMNT GPS bike computer that includes a live Strava segment feature. Several other GPS computer makers have similar features and Wahoo has promised the update for a while.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Blackburn's new Chamber HV floor pump is purpose-built for mountain bike use, with an oversized barrel for high volume, a 4-inch-diameter gauge that reads to 50 psi, a camoflauge paint job and an integrated bottle opener.

DENVER (BRAIN) — Gates is targeting the high-volume European urban bike and e-bike market with an expanded product line it will introduce at Eurobike at the end of this month. The company also will show new products for use with Pinion gearboxes and Rohloff hubs.
