SACRAMENTO, Calif. (BRAIN) — The North American Handmade Bicycle Show is adding a trade element to its event. This year the show will grant retail buyers early access to the show each of its three days.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — The driver who struck and killed First Flight Bicycles' owner Jeff Archer last July has pleaded guilty to driving while impaired and felony death by vehicle and was sentenced on Friday to 3 1/2 to 5 years in prison.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — The North American Handmade Bicycle Show will donate $1 from the sale of each admission ticket at next week's show to the Trips For Kids Initiative.

Since 1988, Trips For Kids has helped disadvantaged kids discover the joy of mountain biking.

AUSTIN, Texas (BRAIN) — Members of the Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association will be on hand at this month's North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Utah to help assemble bikes before the show and to meet with the show attendees during the March 10-12 event.

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Next month's North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Salt Lake City will go ahead as planned despite the recent controversy over land use policies in Utah. However, organizers said they will not plan future shows in the state, and would have moved this year's show if there had been time.
