LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (BRAIN) — Yakima is introducing its first ambassador program, the Yakima RackPack, with a group of athletes and everyday adventurers from numerous sports and pursuits. The ambassadors will share tips and tricks from the road, travel stories and more through Yakima’s website, blog, social media channels and public events.
"We’re super excited about our inaugural RackPack crew, who represent the wide variety of lifestyles and personalities that Yakima embodies and, most importantly, exemplifies that anyone can get out there and make the most of their gear and lead an adventurous lifestyle. Our ambassadors are aspirational yet highly relatable to everyone,” said Summer Henderson, brand director at Yakima.
The Yakima 2018 RackPack lineup consists of:
- Jordan Lee, 2017 and 2018 Bassmaster Classic champion
- Brianna Madia, vanlifer
- Loki the Wolf Dog, adventure dog and road traveler
- Nick Goepper, two-time Olympic freestyle skiing medalist and X Games medalist and truck enthusiast
- Diego Huerta, Austin, Texas-based bilingual photographer and self-proclaimed nomad
- Henry the Colorado Dog, adventure dog, along with his sidekick Baloo the Cat
- Rachel Strait, professional enduro mountain bike racer
- WildRootsOutdoors, Utah-based family of parents Nate and Candice and their four young sons, ages 3 to 9
- Yogaslackers, yoga/slackline gurus Sam and Raquel
