Active Network GM to deliver keynote at TBI conference; more speakers announced

AUSTIN, Texas (BRAIN) — Organizers of the 2017 Triathlon Business International Conference have announced more speakers and agenda items for the event, which will be held Jan. 22-24 in Dallas.

New speakers include Sam Renouf, the general manager of the Sports division of the Active Network. Renouf will deliver the keynote address on Jan. 24; his speach is titled, "Delivering Experiences Throughout the Event Lifecycle That Can Transcend the Sport." According to organizers, Renouf will be talking about how technological innovation has changed what participants want from a triathlon event experience and how organizers can profitably deliver experiences that begin before entry consideration and extend beyond the finish line."

The keynote will be followed by a panel discussions on "The Changing Dynamics of Manufacturer, Wholesaler & Retailer Relationships" and on "Alternative Event Formats that Engage More Participants and Expand Business Opportunities for Event Producers."

Lance Armstrong will hold a moderated Q&A discussion at the conference on Monday morning, Jan. 23. A full agenda is available at triathlonbusinessintl.com.
