SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — Assos is taking its new truck and trailer display on the road this fall, attending bike events and visiting retailer across the West. The set up, called Assos Mobile, was unveiled at the CrossVegas race last month. Soon after CrossVegas, Assos brought the mobile setup to Levi's Gran Fondo.
"We look forward to offering an insider experience to the Assos brand and interacting with our retailers and customers in a new way," says Christopher Mackay, North American marketing manager at Assos. "The West Coast, and California specifically, is a huge opportunity for us and by partnering with our loyal dealers we can expect to extend our reach and establish stronger relationships within the regional cycling communities."
The truck is a Freightliner Sportchassis P2 MTUV, paired with a 30-foot trailer that features160 square feet of merchandisable space that holds the current collection of Assos apparel.
Assos plans to host community rides and clinics and a cycling camp in San Francisco this fall.
