LONDON (BRAIN) — Zwift has appointed Steve Beckett as VP of marketing and customer acquisition. Beckett will begin immediately and will be based in London.
Formerly head of cycling at Sky, Beckett also has experience in the marketing and subscription business sector, having previously managed Sky's media planning and strategy division. Since 2012, Beckett has been specializing in consultancy to the bike industry, working with teams, sponsors, event owners and federations.

"We are going to be disruptive, in a good way, for cycling. Zwift is about getting more people on bikes, more often and having more fun. We will evolve the way industry brands can engage with participant audiences, and in doing so, we will strive to deliver greater communication and commercial returns to these stakeholders"
Zwift uses multiplayer gaming technology to bring the outdoor cycling experience indoors. Athletes from around the globe can ride with or race each other in rich 3D generated worlds simply by connecting their existing devices wirelessly to the Zwift platform.
