MORGAN HILL, Calif. (BRAIN) — Specialized and Strava have collaborated on a new social media platform, Strava Shop Pages, for retailers to build community around their businesses, better serve customers and get more people on bikes.
Currently available to select Specialized retailers in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Australia, Strava Shop Pages are custom to each retailer, providing shop information including location, hours and contact info as well as several features found on Strava Club Pages such as a discussion board, ride planner and leader board to track which customers are riding the most.
With Strava Shop Pages and Club Pages separated, Strava will be able to build additional tools that are specific to the retailer, noted Katie Sue Gruener, public relations at Specialized.
The service will be made available to all Specialized retailers later this year.
