MUKILTEO, WA (BRAIN) — Len Cabaltera has left Reynolds’ cycling division, where he was international sales and marketing manager, to become director of OEM sales at FSA, Lance Bohlen, FSA’s managing director, said Thursday.
Bohlen told Bicycle Retailer that he has known Cabaltera for years and was pleased to have him join the company. In addition to Cabaltera, Ivan Harms, a longtime FSA employee, has been promoted to U.S. sales manager.
“Both Len and Ivan are two of the most knowledgeable and liked guys in the industry. Between the two of them they have more than 40 years of customer-focused sales experience,” Bohlen said. “We are extremely fortunate to have these two guys, of this caliber, leading our sales team.”
Cabaltera will be in Taiwan for Taichung Bike Week, Bohlen added, as part of the RideOn group of companies. RideOn will hold meetings at the Millennium Hotel along with Mavic, Vittoria, Fox, Hayes, Fizik, Magura and Bosch.
Cabaltera began his career in the Midwest in retail and joined Hayes in 1996 as its sales and marketing manager. He later joined Reynolds. Cabaltera will remain in Racine, Wisconsin, where he is a well-known coach and local track racer.
Harms began his career as an inside sales rep at Diamondback in 1996 and was a senior product manager at Raleigh America. He later developed the U.S. division for Cole Wheels before joining FSA in 2009. Harms will continue working for FSA in Santa Clarita, California.
